The NFL is expected to announce its national television schedule for week one and Thanksgiving on Monday with the rest of the schedule tentatively expected to be announced Thursday.

The entire schedule announcement has been delayed in past years and has been removed from the NFL Network television schedule, according to the Dallas Morning News.

The Morning News says it’s highly likely that the Dallas Cowboys will get a prime-time game during the season’s first week because everybody loves the Cowboys.

Well, if the Morning News says everyone loves them, it must be true.

I’m not sure that “fair bet” is the same as “highly likely”. Maybe you have a different thesaurus than I do.

I love their idea of a Dallas and Green Bay match-up to “introduce Aaron Rodgers to the world”. Hopefully soon to be followed by re-introducing the Cheeseheads to what the 2005 season was like, since they seem to forget quickly.

Okay, maybe I stretched that one a bit. Still, I thought the article dripped and oozed with the egomania that makes people both love and vehemently hate the organization.

If you disagree that’s your right.
