I love Brette Farve as a competitor and a future hall of fame cannadaite but he should have hung it up 2 years ago. Twice in 2006 and 2007 he had the opportunity to leave as a winner and instead he goes out on a 5-game losing streak with a different team. To even consider taking him as a quarterback would be completely foolish. Some of the worst quarterbacks have taken their teams to the Super Bowl instead of Farve. One of them is Rex Grossman. Rex, despite throwing 20 interception got his mediocre and very overrated team to the Super Bowl when they lost to the Colts. Eli Manning, despite suffering from erratic play and lacking experience, took a mediocre team to the playoffs and beat one of the best teams in NFL history in the patriots. Ben Rothlesburger won the Lombardi Trophi twice despite of a subpar offense in both 05 and 08 while Farve only has one trophy. Brett needs to do the game a favor and hang it up. His legacy is in tact because of his body of work. He has a ring, and he is on his way to Canton. There is no reason for him to come back. He needs to stay retired!

Sounds like Favre to the Vikings is a done deal if Favre's arm is fit enough. That's a big if but that's the bottom line now.
