Week 6 saw me picking up one more game against Andy (thanks to my picking of Tampa Bay, which I’m not sure wasn’t actually a typo on my part), finishing 10-3 vs. Andy’s 9-4.  For the season, Andy now leads 59-31 to my 57-33.  Two more weeks and I should catch him.

Of course, weeks like this may separate the amateurs from the pros, with lots of terrible matchups that could go either way—in our head to head picking, it may be one of the worst matchups of the week (Denver @ Miami) that might be the turning point, although we had two other matchups picked differently…

Game of the Week: Houston @ Tennessee – Overall, this is a terrible slate of games.  Even Houston @ Tennessee, which will have serious ramifications in the AFC South, isn’t that exciting with Houston’s top stars out, and Chris Johnson having a terrible season.

Still, up against the rest of the games this weekend, this is the premiere matchup.

Game of the Weak: Take your pick.  Even normally great matchups (Green Bay @ Minnesota) have zero luster with the Pack dominating the league, and the Vikings playing as bad as I’ve seen in my life (the Les Steckel era was before I became a real NFL fan).  The previously mentioned Denver @ Miami stands out as two terrible teams matching up, a game that will likely still draw a crowd just for the Tim Tebow factor.  Even as a football fan, I may choose to spend my Sunday out working in the yard.
