His thoughts:

I was very happy with the way the draft went. The only real regret I have was waiting for a solid backup receiver. I added a very good backup QB in the late rounds over a shaky wide receiver. My quarterbacks are both QB 1’s, Matthew Stafford and Tony Romo. My running backs are Doug Martin, Steven Jackson, Le’Veon Bell and Montee Ball. I really couldn’t believe that Bell and Ball were available in the 5th and 7th round respectively.

My wide receivers are Larry Fitzgerald, Danny Amendola and Vincent Brown. I felt comfortable with Fitzgerald as my number one because he finally has a real quarterback throwing him passes in Carson Palmer. Amendola might have been a reach in the 4th round, but he will be a great WR 2 if he can stay healthy. Vincent Brown in my mind was a steal in the 10th round. This kid hasn’t been able to stay healthy in his first couple of seasons, but with Danario Alexander out for the year and Malcom Floyd banged up Brown will be in line for tons of targets. Unproven rookie Cordarrelle Patterson of the Vikings went six picks before him. Big mistake by KC Kingdom.

My tight end is Jared Cook, who I selected in the 9th round. Outside of Jimmy Graham or Rob Gronkowski most other tight ends are going to make the same impact this season. Cook has a huge upside as he is part of real offense with Sam Bradford throwing him passes in St. Louis. He could wind up as a top 5 tight end at season’s end. I always wait until the last two rounds to take a defense and kicker. I added Falcons K Matt Bryant in the 11th round and the Patriots defense in the 12th round.

Overall, I think my team is very solid. I have options at every position, which is great. The Jared Cook selection was a little bit of a gamble, but it could pay off. Having plenty of running backs is my favorite strategy and I drafted four starting backs.
