I picked up Nick Folk and dropped Crosby after 2 bad misses last week, though he did get 9 pts. Folk hasn’t missed a FGA all year and has numerous 2 digit weeks this year. Just wondered how you arrived at Crosby as your #1 kicker for this week?
Todd, go with Fitzgerald. Allen’s been better lately, but he’s got a tough matchup and Fitzy’s is about as easy as they come.
Oly, Morris and Lacy. I like TY Hilton, but not this week. Tough to bench, but he’s got Verner this week. It’s not gonna be pretty.
Dick, if you’re penalized for misses in your league, then Crosby does drop a couple spots. But Crosby’s averaging almost 3.5 attempts the last 7 weeks. He’s missed four, which you don’t love, but he’s kicking at a pretty good rate overall. And the Giants, while giving up fewer points to kickers their last three games, are still allowing the fourth most points per game. And the kickers they’ve been better against lately are 14, 20, and 30, respectively, in points per game at the position, so not exactly high-powered offenses. Crosby, on the other hand, is second at the position overall.
In a 2 RB/2WR Flex Non-PPR league. I have been getting killed with QBs with Brady and Dalton. I could get Peyton for probably Nelson and Jeffery, definitely Jeffery and Murray. I have Moreno, Murray, Richarson and Rice for RBs and Desean Jackson, Marshall, Jeffery, Nelson and Boykin. Been going with Jackson, Marshall as WRs and Nelson as Flex. Would you trade for Manning? Bascially losing my depth and Flex. Will probably have to use either Boykin or Richardson going forward in Flex, maybe Delanie Walker.
I could also do Nelson for Luck, maybe Jeffery instead.
Hey Frank. You don’t have the depth at RB to make it worthwhile to make the deal. You can’t trust Richardson and Rice at this point. But you do have the WR depth to do it, so I’d go that route if you can.
I wouldn’t get Luck. Very tough schedule down the stretch. Wouldn’t be an improvement for you.

Don’t get me wrong–I like Tate this week. Have him ranked right behind Lacy. So if your gut says Tate, I’d play him over Lacy and keep Morris in there.
How much trading do you do at this point of the year? In another league (PPR) I am in, I am on the outside of the playoffs barely at this point. I have 3 studs (Charles, Manning, Graham) and the rest duds. Maybe something like Wilson, Bernard, Calvin and Olsen for Manning and Graham?
I do more trading late in the year than early, generally speaking. Probably because early in the year I feel more compelled to “win” the trade whereas late in the year as long as I’m getting an upgrade to my starting lineup–and not totally getting fleeced–I’m more likely to pull the trigger.
In your case I think I’d focus more on guys who have a better schedule than Wilson does. I’m OK with trading a stud or two if you’re in a situation where the rest of your starting lineup is brutal, but you’ve got to be very cognizant of schedule in that case because you’re going from guys who you’ll start regardless to guys who you might wind up benching in certain weeks because you’ve got other guys who look like better plays. Plus Wilson still has a bye.
