Well … that was humbling. Week 11 was a rough one – both for a lot of teams expected to be among the NFL’s best this season and weekly-picksfor those of us trying to predict the winners.

I finally won a week, but it was a pretty weak effort at 8-6. Tony, John and Dr. Phil all tied with six correct. Fantasy Editor Anthony Maggio owns the survivor pool, but his picks last week overall left a bit to be desired – he hit just three of 14 games.

Here are the standings:

Name Week 11 Overall
Dr. Phil 6-8 111-49-1
Tony 6-8 106-54-1
John 6-8 100-60-1
Andy 8-6 99-61-1
Maggio 3-11 94-66-1

There are some really interesting games on the slate this week, including a crossover conference game between Detroit and New England and divisional tilts with the Giants hosting Dallas and Arizona traveling to Seattle, where the Cardinals were the only team to deal the Seahawks a loss in 2013. Should be a fun week. Here are our picks:

Game of the Week: Arizona at Seattle – While I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on the Lions/Patriots game, the NFC West game between the Cardinals and Seahawks will be the must-watch game for week 12. Seattle’s coming off another loss to Kansas City and has yet to recapture the magic from their Super Bowl run. Arizona has just one loss, but has to rely on Drew Stanton to lead the team the rest of the way with Carson Palmer out. That’s going to be a tough go in one of the league’s loudest venues.

Game of the Weak: Tampa Bay at Chicago – The statisticians can pull out whatever facts they want about Tampa struggling to win in cold weather and let’s face it, this week, nobody is going to care. The Bears, coming off two embarrassing losses, actually showed up in week 11 to take out Minnesota for their first win at home in 2014. Tampa looked good in beating lowly Washington last week. But these teams, for the most part, have resembled their predecessors from the late 70s and early 80s, during which neither team did much but lose.
