Defense. You recommended the Bucs v Carolina for week 15 a couple of weeks ago. I also have the Colts v Houston which I note you ranked 11th v 14th for the Bucs. The Titans and Jets are also available (surprise, surprise). Any suggestions for a Defense from these candidates? Thanks.
Who has the highest floor and highest ceiling between Sanchez and Rivers this week? Will the Chargers issues on the OL continue to cause Rivers pressure issues?
Hey Shirley, I tried to answer your question the other day, but now I don’t see the answer on here. I actually have the Bucs one spot ahead of Indy right now, but if Vontae Davis plays and Andre Johnson doesn’t, I’d actually prefer the Colts to the Bucs this week. So watch inactives on Sunday.
Justin, I think Rivers has the highest ceiling and Sanchez the higher floor. Rivers can go bust because of that OL you mentioned, but he’s had good games against Denver in the past, and with Ryan Mathews limited or out and the Broncos sure to put up points, he’s going to be chucking it.
Anthony…I need an RB2 and Flex out of this group: J.Stewart, D. Herron, S. Watkins, and K. Allen. I see you have these guys grouped pretty close in your rankings. What would be your high floor and high ceiling strategy?
Herron’s always got a lower ceiling because he’s splitting touches. I’d go Stewart at RB because he’s got a high ceiling–especially if DeAngelo Williams doesn’t go–and his floor is about where Herron’s is due to that workload I mentioned. I’d go Watkins for my flex because they’ll have to throw, unless weather gets nuts in Buffalo for Sunday in which case Allen is a fine fallback.
