Ask Anthony to pick winners for all 16 games and he’s mortal. Ask him to find one game he knows is a winner? He’ll hit for you almost every time.

He pushed his run to 13-1, all the more impressive as the rest of us stopped counting after our misses collectively reached nine.

Here are his thoughts on week 15.

Maggio: Kansas City over Oakland
Teams used: Detroit, Miami, NY Jets, Green Bay, Atlanta, San Diego, New Orleans, Denver, New England, Dallas, Seattle, Baltimore, Indianapolis, Minnesota

The Chiefs were upset by the Raiders in Oakland, and I have reason to believe they’re upset about it. I don’t see lightning striking twice, particularly at Arrowhead.

Consolation round (single elimination)

John: Record before eliminated: 4-2 (1-1 in consolation round)
Teams used: Arizona, Dallas, Seattle, Pittsburgh, San Diego, Kansas City, Indianapolis, Green Bay

Eliminated again.

Who I would take if I was still alive: Baltimore over Jacksonville: I was really tempted to take the Rams and their red-hot defense over the injury-plagued Cardinals, but Thursday night games are just way too unpredictable. Instead, I’m going with the Ravens at home against the lowly Jags. The Ravens have won three of their last four en route to an 8-5 record, and Joe Flacco is quietly playing the best ball of his career.

Tony: Record before eliminated: 0-2 (4-1 in consolation round)
Teams used: Indianapolis, Cleveland, New England, Denver, Seattle, Arizona, Green Bay, San Francisco

Eliminated again.

Who I would take if I was still alive: Kansas City over Oakland – It’s not that I feel super confident in Kansas City at this point, but Oakland followed up their last victory by completely crapping the bed against the St. Louis Rams. They may be more up for a big division game, but they got their two wins—their players have to be packing it in by now.

Andy: Record before eliminated: 2-2 (0-1 in consolation round)
Teams used: Miami, Seattle, Detroit, Denver, San Diego, Philadelphia, San Francisco

Eliminated again.

Who I would take if I was still alive: Indianapolis over Houston – There’s a little part of me that, since being eliminated from the real survivor pool, has been making picks to be a bit contrarian. This would be another of those cases, though I do think the Colts, at home, are unlikely to lose to the Texans.

Who is the best survivor pool pick for week 15?

  • Someone else (18%, 2 Votes)
  • Kansas City over Oakland (9%, 1 Votes)
  • Indianapolis over Houston (9%, 1 Votes)
