There were a bunch of wild endings in week five, especially in the early slate of games. But most of us ended up faring fairly well. Three of us hit double-digit wins.weekly-picks

Not sure what the deal is with the schedule this year, but week six presents another cruddy slate of games. For every good one, there are three that I wouldn’t watch if there wasn’t fantasy football or this blog to fill.

Game of the Week: New England at Indianapolis – I know the Colts haven’t gotten off the strongest of starts. And I’m expecting this game to be a blowout. But frankly it’s another soft set of games, this week. And there’s a soap opera-ish-ness to when the Patriots play the Colts already. Add in the DeflateGate situation and this one will be must-see TV.

Game of the Weak: Baltimore at San Francisco – Remember when these two teams played in the Super Bowl? Now both are 1-4 and foundering big time. Several games would qualify this week though: Bears/Lions, Texans/Jaguars, Dolphins/Titans – as I said, this is a weak week.
