Tony and Rich continue to plug along. The rest of us … uggh.

Carolina was the winner of choice for both of our good pickers. The rest of us missed the boat with Green Bay, Denver and Cincinnati – three teams that a couple weeks ago were undefeated.

Thus is the unpredictability of the 2015 NFL season.

Anyway, here’s where we stand in terms of teams used:

Previously used
Rich NY Jets, New England, Seattle, Green Bay, NY Giants, Cincinnati (winner), Arizona, Kansas City, NY Jets (duplicate), Carolina
Tony Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Arizona, Indianapolis, New England, Seattle (eliminated), Atlanta, Minnesota, Cincinnati, Carolina
Maggio New England, New Orleans (eliminated), Seattle, Indianapolis, Kansas City (miss), NY Jets, San Diego (miss), Atlanta (miss), Cincinnati (miss), Green Bay (miss)
Vomhof Green Bay, New Orleans (eliminated), Seattle, Indianapolis, Kansas City (miss), Minnesota, Arizona, St. Louis, Cincinnati, Denver (miss)
Andy Green Bay, Arizona, Seattle, Indianapolis, Kansas City (eliminated), New England, Atlanta, St. Louis, New Orleans (miss), Cincinnati (miss)

Here are our picks for this week.

This week’s pick
Rich Dallas
Tony Baltimore
Maggio Carolina
Vomhof Carolina
Andy Philadelphia

And here is why:

Rich – Contributing writer and publisher and editor for SouthernMinn SCENE magazine

Romo’s back, and Dan Campbell’s honeymoon is over.

Tony – Co-founder, web guru

I sooooooo wanted to go with Minnesota—especially in a survivor pick that doesn’t matter. But at the end of the day, I guess I’m still in the running for a 16-1 season, right?  Although at this point we’re picking dregs—and Baltimore qualifies as dregs, at 2-7. But they’re playing at home against a St. Louis team that is coming off a drubbing by the Chicago Bears, and just benched their starting quarterback in favor of Case Keenum.

Maggio – Fantasy editor

I may actually get more survivor picks wrong than right this year, which is both hilarious and embarrassing. Hey, maybe I should pick teams that don’t lose games? The Panthers are one of those, having not lost yet this season. Here’s hoping they can contain the red hot Kirk Cousins.

Vomhof – Senior contributing writer

Washington is riding high after absolutely destroying New Orleans on Sunday, but the ‘Aints have a knack for making mediocre offenses look like juggernauts. The Panthers are playing fantastic football, and I just can’t see them snapping their perfect season against Kirk “You Like That” Cousins and the Skins. Carolina goes to 10-0.

Andy – Co-founder, editorial director

Sam Bradford is hurt but he hasn’t been all that great this year anyway. Mark Sanchez is going to be a fine replacement. He’s comfortable. It’s his second year in the system. The Bucs are without Vincent Jackson. Blah, blah. I’m running out of teams to pick and of the ones I have left, the Eagles seem like the safest bet.
