We’re at a point in the season where the pickings have gotten slim. Yet Rich just keeps plowing toward near-perfection — while the rest of us look like tools, his only miss so far came because of an uncaught duplication.

Can he keep it up, though, in a week where his remaining teams are hardly juggernauts. We’ll see.

Here’s where we stand:

Previously used
Rich NY Jets, New England, Seattle, Green Bay, NY Giants, Cincinnati (winner), Arizona, Kansas City, NY Jets (duplicate), Carolina, Dallas
Tony Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Arizona, Indianapolis, New England, Seattle (eliminated), Atlanta, Minnesota, Cincinnati, Carolina, Baltimore (miss)
Maggio New England, New Orleans (eliminated), Seattle, Indianapolis, Kansas City (miss), NY Jets, San Diego (miss), Atlanta (miss), Cincinnati (miss), Green Bay (miss), Carolina
Vomhof Green Bay, New Orleans (eliminated), Seattle, Indianapolis, Kansas City (miss), Minnesota, Arizona, St. Louis, Cincinnati, Denver (miss), Carolina
Andy Green Bay, Arizona, Seattle, Indianapolis, Kansas City (eliminated), New England, Atlanta, St. Louis, New Orleans (miss), Cincinnati (miss), Philadelphia (miss)

And here are our picks for this week:

This week’s pick
Rich Oakland
Tony NY Giants
Maggio Arizona
Vomhof Jacksonville
Andy NY Jets

And finally, here are our explanations:

Rich – Contributing writer and publisher and editor for SouthernMinn SCENE magazine

I picked the Raiders because I’ve used all the good teams.

Tony – Co-founder, web guru

Well, other than my inexplicable Seattle pick, at least I can do something right—winning with Baltimore in a 2015 survivor pool, who woulda thunk it…well tempted to reverse things and go with Cleveland this week over Matt Schaub, the Giants are sitting there on the board facing a Washington team that has finally resorted to accusing the officials of bias based on their team name…while the…uh…Washington team has scalped a few teams this year, and is somehow sitting in second place in the NFC East, they haven’t exactly been good in doing so. This could be a bit of a trap game—but I’m just not convinced that Kirk Cousins is who you want leading your last stand…

Maggio – Fantasy editor

I’ve inconceivably gotten four consecutive and five of my last confidence pool picks incorrect. Just for a refresher, that means I simply had to choose one team–ONE–that would win on any given weekend. Yes, as we get later in the season the number of teams available to me are restricted based upon previous picks, but that’s the same for everyone. I just have no clue what the hell is going on. So here you go folks, Arizona is my lock of the week on the road against a team with nothing to lose. Enjoy.

Vomhof – Senior contributing writer

Let’s face it, I’m struggling. So, screw it–I’m swinging for the fences this week! The surging Jags have won back-to-back games and three of their last five, while the injury-riddled Chargers have dropped six straight. Jacksonville gets the W and stays alive in the AFC South playoff race.

Andy – Co-founder, editorial director

Sometimes it’s not so much the team you like but the opponent you don’t like. The Jets have not been good of late, but they have not quit playing hard. The same cannot be said of the Dolphins, who have laid down like road kill for awhile now. Happy Thanksgiving.
