So who would have thought the Carolina Panthers would be the last undefeated team in the league? And that they’d weekly-picksnot lose a game by week 14? And that the next closest team to them would have two losses? And that the Patriots would lose to the Eagles at home, especially after taking a 14-0 lead?

We could play this game all day. The 2015 season has been one for the unexpected and that continued last week. Still, four of our pickers got 10 right and Fantasy Editor Anthony Maggio paced us all with 11. If you didn’t look at the prior 12 weeks, you might think we actually know what we’re doing here… or maybe not.

But anyway, week 14 arrives in a couple days. And here is where our picks stand so far:

  Week 13 Total
Maggio 11-5 117-75
Tony 10-6 123-69
Andy 10-6 120-72
Rich 10-6 117-75
Vomhof 10-6 108-84

Game of the Week: Pittsburgh at Cincinnati – The Cardinals/Vikings game on Thursday night looked semi-enticing until half the Vikings’ defense was injured. They appear to be doing what they can to piece together a team this week in order to rest up the starters for the final three game push for the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Bengals have a chance to all but lock up the AFC North with a win over Pittsburgh, while the Steelers need a win in order to stay toward the top of the wild card hunt. Can Andy Dalton start putting an end to his prime time struggles? Or does a desperate Big Ben again spell disappointment for the orange and black?

Game of the Weak: San Francisco at Cleveland – It’s hard to fathom how some teams can be so bad for so long. For the Browns, it’s been multiple owners, several generations of players … hell, even two different teams using the same name. Cleveland fans deserve better. And sometimes it’s equally hard to understand how a team goes from three straight NFC Championship games to the cellar as fast as this 49ers group has. There seem to be a few fairly obvious explanations for this one though.
