Two Tellijohns in a two-strike, four-person NFL Survival Pool to start the season, two Tellijohns out by the end of week four. Stupid Steelers.
If you’re looking for assistance with your Survivor Pool, you still have the undefeated Anthony Maggio and John Vomhof Jr. to help out. They’re the last two remaining, but both are 4-0 on the season. Here are their picks for week five.
Maggio: Record: 4-0
Teams used: NY Jets, Green Bay, Atlanta, San Diego
New Orleans over Tampa Bay: Nicely done, Tellijohns. Way to make this a two-horse race early on. New Orleans is an awful, awful team on the road. But the Saints are still nearly impossible to beat at home, and despite Tampa Bay pulling out a late victory at Pittsburgh last week, I’m not convinced the Bucs are any good. There are a couple other options I like here, most notably Philadelphia over St. Louis and Denver over Arizona, but I’ll get the Saints out of the way while I’ve got a decent matchup at the Superdome to rely on.
John: Record: 4-0
Teams used: NY Jets, Denver, New England, San Diego
Detroit over Buffalo: The Lions really haven’t played as well as their 3-1 record might indicate, but they should be able to beat Buffalo at home. After a strong 2-0 start, the Bills have lost their last two games — and no, Kyle Orton isn’t the answer to their woes.
Andy: Record: 2-2 (Eliminated)
Teams used: Philadelphia, San Francisco, New England, Pittsburgh
Tony: Record: 0-2 (Eliminated)
Teams used: Chicago, New Orleans

Well they should be concerned
It’s what I am gathering from public comments by Porter and confirmation conversations from voters. As far as Hall board…
I wish I had never gotten interested in the Pro Football Hall of Fame
Paul what makes you think that
Oh there will be changes but don’t expect any that really improve process, increase class sizes, or ensure long waiting…
