If Zoneblitz employed an editor, Rich would still have a perfect season going.

His gutty Raiders pick last week was the 13th week in a row he’d picked a winner – the one blemish on his record remains the duplicate pick we didn’t catch until too late. He’s going out on a limb this week too. And he’s a big dude – can said limb once again stay in tact?

Tony also has a solid season going, but he dropped the ball last week relying on the Giants. The rest of us are sort of slumbering along, getting one or two right and then illustrating for the world to see why we aren’t employed by the networks.

Here’s where we stand:

Previously used
Rich NY Jets, New England, Seattle, Green Bay, NY Giants, Cincinnati (winner), Arizona, Kansas City, NY Jets (duplicate), Carolina, Dallas, Oakland
Tony Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Arizona, Indianapolis, New England, Seattle (eliminated), Atlanta, Minnesota, Cincinnati, Carolina, Baltimore, NY Giants (miss)
Maggio New England, New Orleans (eliminated), Seattle, Indianapolis, Kansas City (miss), NY Jets, San Diego (miss), Atlanta (miss), Cincinnati (miss), Green Bay (miss), Carolina, Arizona
Vomhof Green Bay, New Orleans (eliminated), Seattle, Indianapolis, Kansas City (miss), Minnesota, Arizona, St. Louis, Cincinnati, Denver (miss), Carolina, Jacksonville (miss)

And here are our picks for this week:

This week’s pick
Rich Tampa Bay
Tony Washington
Maggio Washington
Vomhof New England
Andy Carolina

And here are our explanations:

Rich – Contributing writer and publisher and editor for SouthernMinn SCENE magazine

The Atlanta Falcons have shown themselves to be the same old Matt Ryan team: start off hot, and then slowly sink into a murky haze of suckiness. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers have followed the trajectory of their own quarterback, who has taken about half a season to figure out how the NFL works.

Tony – Co-founder, web guru

Looks like I finally choked (again) last week, with my Giants over Washington take—had I bothered to look a little closer, I may have seen that Kirk Cousins has actually been playing fairly well at home, and Washington is actually now in a tie for the division. Bonus for them? Another divisional matchup this week, again at home, facing the once again Tony Romo-phobic Dallas Cowboys. Bad news for them?  They’re my pick this week.

Maggio – Fantasy editor

Can I get three in a row correct for the first time this season? If so, it’ll be with a sub-.500 squad, because I’m going with Washington this week. At home against Matt Cassel is a scenario I’ll gladly chase, and since I haven’t used Washington yet, why not?

Vomhof – Senior contributing writer

OK, so, I maybe I got a little too cute last week. The Jaguars? Really?! What the hell was I thinking? Not this week. Not again. I’m taking Tom Brady and the Patriots in Foxboro against the train wreck that is the 2015 Philadelphia Eagles.

Andy – Co-founder, editorial director

When I read that John was taking New England I thought to myself “How did he get this far into the season without taking the Patriots.” Then I started trying to figure out who I was going to take and I found out I hadn’t used undefeated Carolina. And I had the same thought. The Panthers don’t have to be great this weekend. Get a couple defensive stops and watch Cam Newton toy with a nearly nonexistent defense.
