NFL Picks 2016: Week 12

NFL Picks 2016: Week 12

Wow – an honest-to-God good week for all of us. We combined for a 45-11 mark in week 11 – for some it’s not going to make up for the first 10 weeks, but it should ensure we all at least break the .500 mark for the season.

John Vomhof and, for the first time, Andy, led the way with 12 correct.

Here are the standings.

Week 11 Overall
John Vomhof Jr 12-2 101-58-2
Andy 12-2 86-73-2
Tony 11-3 94-65-2
Maggio 10-4 91-68-2

NFL Picks 2016: Week 11

Well, I opened last week’s pick post asking if we could capitalize in momentum from our first collective good week in week 9. The answer was no.

We batted just .500 as a team in week 10. Upsets killed us again.

This is a weird as league sometimes.

Here are the standings:

  Week 10 Overall
Tony 8-6 83-62-2
Vomhof 7-7 89-56-2
Andy 7-7 77-71-2
Maggio 6-8 81-64-2

So here we go again. Here are our picks for week 11.

NFL Picks 2017: Week eight

Uff Da.

We’re nearly at the halfway mark of the season and everyone still seems to be foundering with their picks.

Last week 8-6-1 paced the picks, with two selectors finishing .500 or worse.

Here are the standings:

  Week 7 Overall
Maggio 8-6-1 56-50-1
Andy 8-6-1 53-53-1
Vomhof 7-7-1 66-40-1
Tony 5-9-1 58-48-1

NFL Picks 2016: Week seven

Three of the four Zoneblitzers making picks may be figuring this season out.
Andy remains lost.
Maggio, Tony and John hit 10 or more, with Anthony leading the way at 11. Andy … not so much.
Perhaps that along with lower TV ratings are signs of the apocalypse.
Or maybe Andy’s just not as smart as he thought.
Here are the standings:

  Week 6 Overall
Maggio 11-4 48-44
John Vomhof 10-5 59-33
Tony 10-5 53-39
Andy 6-9 45-47

The guys will try to keep picking up the pace in week seven. Here are our picks:

Game of the Week: Seattle at Arizona – For a couple years it looked like the 49ers/Seahawks was the game to watch. With the 49ers sliding, Bruce Arians has made Arizona the biggest competitor to Seattle’s dominance under Pete Carroll. Both of these teams are among the top three teams in the NFC and it would be almost surprising if at least one of them wasn’t in the NFC Championship game. This could go a long way toward deciding which team has home-field in the event of a postseason match-up.
Game of the Weak: Tampa Bay at San Francisco – Most of this week’s games feature at least one team with a glimmer or better of playoff hope. Not this one. Tampa is slightly improved, but still not there. The 49ers have become one of the dregs of the league. Not sure what the biggest intrigue will be here.
