As if the ridiculous media barrage of Brett Favre stories wasn’t already playing to the aging quarterback’s ego now a Minneapolis “columnist” has pinned the Minnesota Vikings’ hopes for getting a new stadium squarely on the shoulders of team ownership somehow acquiring Favre.
Not only does this ignore the Vikings lack of a community partner or the project hundreds of millions if not a billion dollar shortfall the state is projected to face next year – it ignores the fact that the Packers have already said they won’t release Favre so he can go wherever he wants.
But whatever. It’s interesting, if not amusing reading. And Sid is 87 or 88 years old, so apparently whatever he chooses to write these days gets into the paper.
What a great gig.

Note among 28 are 25 voters and 3 non voting alternates (which are not identified on that list)
Here’s a letter I wrote but haven’t yet sent to Jim Porter complaining about the changes https://x.com/andythepops/status/2100698912805867550?s=61
Hall has posted new 28 voters = 25 returning voters+1 new PFWA rep + 2 PFHOFers (WShields, JAllen) https://www.profootballhof.com/hall-of-famers/becoming-a-hall-of-famer
yea Gregorian stays on while Judge and Cooney are not--makes no sense...smells of playing favorites or going with the type…
Gregorian was the guy that rejected Belichick last year. He claimed he voted for the seniors.
