He didn’t double Tony’s score, but Andy did continue his DFS dominance in the sibling DFS competition. If you asked him, he’d probably say it doesn’t matter – and in reality, how much should it? Even with his abysmal record, he’s still only lost about $6 for the season.

But deep down it has to sting, doesn’t it? Maybe just a bit?

Here are the standings:

Week 5 Season Total points Point average
Andy 168.02 5-1 917.26 152.88
Tony 132.32 1-5 757.3 126.22

And here are the week seven lineups:

Tony

QB – Kyler Murray vs Sea – $7,600 – Almost went Justin Herbert (averaging 24.8 FP/G and facing the 24th ranked opponent) but Murray is facing the 31st ranked opponent, and average over 30 FP/G for just $900 more.

RB – Aaron Jones @ Hou – $7,800 – Houston’s run defense is terrible … I mean, so is their pass defense, but their run defense is really terrible.

RB – Derrick Henry vs Pit – $7,800 – I had Alvin Kamara here, but needed to shave off $600 for the rest of the lineup … Henry faces the #1 OpRk defense, but they’re without Devin Bush, and the Titans feed Henry no matter what. He might not put up 200+ yards, but should find the end zone.

WR – Travis Fulgham vs NYG – $5,300 – Have to get some cheap options out there, and Fulgham has been on fire the last two weeks, so giving him a shot.

WR – Kenny Golladay @ Atl – $7,200 – The Falcons defense is just plain terrible, Golladay should be the main beneficiary of that.

WR/TE – Tee Higgins vs Cle – $5,700 – Higgins has been putting up solid numbers the last few weeks, quickly becoming one of Burrow’s favorite targets.

TE – Hunter Henry vs Jac – $5,000 – Middle of the road option who should get some decent looks against Jacksonville, for just $5k.

Flex – Ronald Jones @ LV – $6,400 – RoJo has been strong enough that you wonder why they bother keeping McCoy and Fournette around …

DST – Cleveland @ CIN – $2,100 – Start with DST … sort by cheapest … look for high OpRk (Cin is 27th) and solid FP/G (Cle is 8). Good enough for me.

Andy –

QB – Matt Stafford @ ATL – $6,500 – Even in beating the Vikings last week, Atlanta gave up 343 yards passing and three TDs. Garbage time? Sure – most of Kirk Cousins’ damage was done when the game was out of hand. But those points still count for fantasy. Stafford will meet or exceed Cousins’ count.

RB – Aaron Jones @ HOU – $7,800 – I like RBs who also catch passes, especially in PPR DFS. Houston is abysmal. Jones is getting used a bit less the last few games, but he’ll get enough work to feast.

RB – D’Andre Swift @ ATL – $5,800 – Swift’s breakout week included three catches last week. He didn’t get much yardage, but I think he’s taking over the role in Detroit and will continue to put up solid points.

WR – DeAndre Hopkins vs SEA – $8,400 – Seattle is near the bottom of the league in pass defense. The Hawks might win this game and they are a likely playoff team, but they will not make the Super Bowl if this deficiency is not addressed. It doesn’t happen his week. Kyler Murray will have a good week and Hopkins will be one of the main beneficiaries.

WR – Tee Higgins @ CIN – $5,700 – This guy is coming on strong in recent weeks. He’s connecting well with Joe Burrow and that’ll continue in a losing effort against Cleveland.

WR – Chase Claypool @ TEN – $6,200 – The fantasy football trade offers Claypool has been involved in the last couple weeks since his four TD performance are impressive. Doesn’t matter in DFS. But I think his ascension to No. 1 receiver status in Pittsburgh continues and I benefit.

TE – Hunter Henry vs JAX – $5,000 – Needed a relatively cheap TE. Got one going up against one of the league’s softest defenses.

Flex – Kenny Golladay @ ATL – $7,200 – I’ll pair Detroit’s best receiver with Stafford for a big week. I think Atlanta wins the game, but that will serve to keep the Lions throwing.

DST – NY Giants @ PHL – $2,300 – Risky, but as I’ve said the last few weeks, with defenses I go to the cheapest available and scroll up until I find a team that shouldn’t embarrass itself. The Eagles are down Zach Ertz and Miles Sanders among others this week. Gobbling up the Giants for this price, for a Thursday night game where weird things happen, feels like a steal – though I admit, there is a solid chance I regret this. Oh well.
