It just keeps getting uglier and uglier. Andy hasn’t correctly pretended to wager on a game in two weeks. And Tony has to consider it a victory to end up $9 ahead for a week.

Good grief.

Week 13 W/L Week 3 $ Season W/L Season $ Bankroll
Tony 2-2 +$9 19-30-3 -$6,080 $3,920
Andy 0-3-1 -$1,300 16-34-2 -$11,268 -$1,268

Andy: This is embarrassing. Probably best if just shush and pick.

$500 – NY Giants (+2.5, -110) vs Arizona – A month ago I would have scoffed at this pick. Then the Giants quietly reeled off four wins in a row while the Cardinals are a Hail Mary away from having lost five in a row. If this game were settled on paper, it’d be Arizona all the way. But, as the old cliche goes, that’s why they play the game.

$500 – Atlanta at LA Chargers: Over 49 – Justin Herbert is the latest, greatest thing. Matt Ryan is pretty grizzled at this point. But both are top-line QBs this season with good weapons playing against teams that have struggled. Even though Herbert is coming off a tough one against Bill Belichick, I think there are a lot of points in this one.

$500 – Kansas City (-7.5) at Miami – The Dolphins are playing well and probably will make the playoffs for just the second time since … well, in a long time. Tua looks the part at times. But I don’t think they can keep up with Patrick Mahomes and crew just yet. The Chiefs will roll here.

$500 – Philadelphia (+280 money line) vs New Orleans – If Taysom Hill doesn’t play well and if Jalen Hurts fires up the Eagles and produces and if the Saints as a whole lay an egg as they do every once in a while, there could be an upset in this game.

Tony: One more bad week, and next week I go into the negative…

$1,000 – Kansas City (-7.5, +100) at Miami – The Chiefs are playing good football right now.  The Dolphins aren’t bad, but I don’t think they can keep pace with Patrick Mahomes.

$1,000 – Atlanta (+1.5, -105) at LA Chargers – Neither of these teams is all that good, but the Falcons have already solved their head coaching problems for 2020…

$1,000 – Pittsburgh (+2.5, -110) at Buffalo – The Bills are good, and the Steelers aren’t really as good as their record…but the Bills went from 2.5 point dogs to 2.5 point favorites?  I don’t get it.

$250 – NY Jets (+790 money line) at Seattle – There’s a handful of games I would probably actually take the moneyline on (including the two above this one), but I’m going for the home run special today…I don’t think it happens, but I’ve seen stranger things.
