His thoughts:

First round: This first round basically went according to form, especially in a PPR league. The only reach may have been Alfred Morris but that is nitpicking.

Second round: We continued to see RBs fly off the board but also the top two fantasy QBs which was a tad too early. My pick of Ridley was a bit high in a PPR but I see him as the workhorse with improving receiving skills. Best Value Pick: A.J Green. Worst Value Pick: Chris Johnson

Third round: A mix of all positions and three more QBs go off the board. I took Reggie Bush who I see as a monster in a PPR league to be my starting flex. Best Value Pick: Reggie Bush. Worst Pick: Colin Kaepernick

Fourth round: Here we had a huge run of receivers as well as the picking of Gronk, whom no one has an idea of when he may play. I took Colston as my WR1. He is as steady as it gets. Best Pick: Lamar Miller. Worst Pick: Mike Wallace.

Fifth round: Running Back went off on an even pace while two more QBs went, with Matt Ryan, who I saw as great value, as my pick. But if I knew there would be a stoppage on drafting them, I would have waited. Best Pick: Le’Veon Bell. Worst Pick-Ryan Mathews.

Sixth round: As we got into the sixth round we finally have a Ram drafted in Daryl Richardson, who has taken a large lead in the battle to become the Rams starting running back. This is about the right spot for him in any kind of draft and he has upside. I went with Torrey Smith who I saw as having the most value and expect him to make a big jump this year. Best Pick: Torrey Smith. Worst Pick: Vernon Davis

Seventh round: The first defense comes off the board, which in my book is way too early – especially the way this draft turned out. I see this as high for Tavon Austin, who is dynamic but will have to share his targets and looks to be at best the third option in the Rams pass offense. I went with Mike Williams, who should be a solid WR3. We also saw great value in the QBs taken in this round. Best Pick: RGIII. Worst Pick: San Francisco defense and Antonio Gates.

Eighth round: One of the last starting running backs in Mendenhall goes here as do some RB handcuffs. Another round with great QB value with Romo, the last of the QB1s, going at the 94th pick of the draft and causing me to rethink taking Matt Ryan as early as I did. I took a flyer on Josh Gordon who can sit on my bench while he is suspended but who also has explosive talent, which he showed in the second half of last year. Best Pick: Tony Romo. Worst Pick: Fred Jackson.

Ninth round: We have a hodgepodge of backups taken in this round as well as a top defense. I took DeAngelo Williams, as he will be a week one starter with Stewart out all offseason and he may carry over his week 17 momentum from last year. Best Pick: DeAngelo Williams. Worst Pick: LeGarrette Blount.

Tenth round: Here teams are filling open spots at TE and kicker and adding some backups. Pead, the Ram, is taken even though he is far behind in the RB race. He still has some time to make a move, but right now he is barely draftable, especially in a 12-team league. I went with the Bears defense, which should be top five again this year. Best Pick: Emmanuel Sanders. Worst Pick: Isaiah Pead.

Eleventh round: Not much to talk about here with most of the picks being defenses and kickers. I took a popular sleeper in Jordan Cameron, who has the talent to flourish in the Norv Turner offense. Chris Givens has the talent to be a 1,000 yard receiver and he seems to be Bradford’s favorite target. Best Pick: Chris Givens. Worst Pick: None.

Twelfth round: I finished out my draft with Phil Dawson, who is my target in all draft, as the 49ers give their kickers a ton of opportunities and he should continue to excel as he did with little around him in Cleveland. No best or worst pick in this round.
