Andy might win alternative picks and he might walk away with straight-up picks too, but he should never be allowed near a Las Vegas bankroll.

His bets, for the … whatever-number-of-seasons-he’s-been-eligible-to-gamble-legally-in-a-row have downright sucked. Tony’s bets are … well, a little more interesting, perhaps, if not just marginally better. So, again, if you want to use these for anything … maybe bet against them.

Here are the standings:

  Week 16 W/L Week 16 $ Total W/L Total $ Bankroll
Andy 1-2-1 -$400 26-36-2 -$4,131 $5,869
Tony 2-2 -$273 28-36 -$3,801 $6,199

And here are our last bets for the 2018 regular season:

Tony:

$2,500 – Dallas (+5.5, -105) over NY Giants – I realize the Cowboys are on the road, and the Giants have been playing better…but five and a half points?

$1,750 – New Orleans (-7.5, +115) over  Carolina – Teddy Bridgewater starting is keeping the line to single digits, but I’m not convinced the Panthers will even score with whoever they have playing quarterback.

$1,750 – Houston (-7.5, +120) over Jacksonville – The line opened at 10, and has moved down—which I don’t understand at all. Then again, what do I know.

$200 – Cincinnati (+650 moneyline) over Pittsburgh – I’ll go $1 in the hole on the longest shot of the week. What the hell.

Andy:

$1,750 – Kansas City (-14, -110) vs Oakland — So often week 17 comes down to motivation: Who has reason to care and who would rather be packing their belongings and heading home or catching a flight for their golf vacation. The Chiefs have to win to maintain a bye and home field over the Homeless Chargers. The Raiders are a couple days away from finishing a hellish season. This is a big line, but the Chiefs will clear it.

$1,750 – New England (-13.5, -110) vs NY Jets — So often week 17 comes down to motivation: Who has reason to care and who would rather be packing their belongings and heading home or catching a flight for their golf vacation. The Patriots have to win to maintain a bye over the Houston Texans. The Jets are a couple days away from finishing a hellish season. This is a big line, but the Patriots will clear it.

$1,750 – Philadelphia (-7, -110) at Washington — So often week 17 comes down to motivation: Who has reason to care and who would rather be packing their belongings and heading home or catching a flight for their golf vacation. The Eagles have to win in order to make the Vikings beat Chicago to earn a wild card berth. Washington is a couple days away from finishing a hellish season. This isn’t that big of a line under those circumstances and the Eagles will clear it. Bonus prediction: The Vikings will get off to a great start, build a substantial lead against the Bears and then, in the final two-and-a-half quarters, they’ll slowly let it start slipping away, finally losing the game on a missed field goal caused by a missed block by an offensive line that has been their Achilles Heel all season long.

$600 – Dallas (+220 moneyline) at NY Giants — Okay, perhaps I’m a fool for believing Jerry Jones. But he says the starters are playing. I suspect they’ll play at least some. And while I’m not a believer that the Cowboys make more than a perfunctory playoff stop this season, the defense is legit good. Stop Saquon and you stop the Giants. I think they can.
