Win a little, lose a little. Staying even is boring. But it keeps the hypothetical mobsters at bay. We both have all of our fingers, but I’m guessing we’re both getting a little bored, too.

Here are the standings:

  Week 6 W/L Week 6 $ Total W/L Total $ Bankroll
Andy 2-2 +$54 10-14 -$1,825 $8,175
Tony 2-2 +$659 11-13 -$1,719 $8,281

And here are the bets:

Tony:

$1,000 – Los Angeles Chargers (-7,-105) over Tennessee – Melvin Gordon likely out? They’ve got Austin Ekeler. Game in London? Chargers play 16 road games each year anyway. Titans haven’t looked as good as their record yet this year.

$1,000 – New England (-3, +100) over Chicago – This line seems to have moved down for some reason (Gronk?) but the site I check still shows one online book with the +100 payout, and I’ll take it.

$1,000 – Cleveland at Tampa Bay: Under 52.5 (-110). This total jumped 4 points since opening, and I’m not sure why—the Browns trading Carlos Hyde to open the door for Chubb isn’t worth 4 points.

$750 – Buffalo (+267 money line) over Indianapolis – Derek Anderson might be the best QB Buffalo has started this year, and their defense has been considerably more solid since Vontae Davis quit midway through game two.

Andy:

$1,000 – New England (-1.5, -110) at Chicago – I like the direction the Bears are going. The creative efforts of Matt Nagy in building an offense are coming together. But the Patriots are … the Patriots. This team is used to playing minus stars like Gronk. In fact, sometimes they almost play better when their backs are, so to speak, up against the wall. They win comfortably.

$800 – Minnesota (-3.5, -110) at NY Jets – I’m probably cursing my home team and I’m probably cursing my bets, but … the Vikings are going up against a banged up Jets secondary. Thielen, Diggs, Rudolph and Cousins should be able to pad their stats nicely today.

$750 – Cleveland (+3.5, -110) at Tampa – Loading up on road teams this week … I am excited to see the Nick Chubb era begin. I think he has a big game against Tampa and powers the Browns to a win.

$500 – Buffalo (+260 money line) – I’m not sure Derek Anderson is the best QB Buffalo has started this year. I have actually been at least a little bit impressed with Josh Allen. However … I have not been all that impressed with the Colts. I think the Bills are equal or better than Indy.
