This season of actually riding along well with Vegas continues. Andy and Tony combined for a sub-.500 record last week, but both hit the big ones to leave with a small profit.

Andy:

$2,500 – New England (-3.5, +100) at Houston – Really? I get the Patriots at even money here? I’ll take that almost any time.

$2,500 – NY Jets (-3.5, -105) at Cincinnati – If you’d told me a month ago I’d be putting this kind of coin on the Jets, I’d have laughed. But the Bengals are doing an especially good job of Bengaling this year. And the Jets – and Sam Darnold – are starting to show signs of getting it.

$2,000 – Buffalo (+6.5, -109) at Dallas – I was hung up a bit on this last non-money line pick. I do think Dallas wins this game, but neither of these teams is very good against good teams … which I guess means neither of these teams is particularly good. And I don’t see any reason other than home-field that the Cowboys are giving a touchdown.

$500 – Washington (+412 money line) at Carolina – Do I think this is going to happen? No. Carolina is the 16-point game in at least one of my confidence pools this week. But I don’t care for a lot of the lines this week. The Bills game? Maybe, but that’s an easier spread game. So … pick a big line and cross your fingers.

Tony:

$1,500 – Miami (+9, -110) vs Philadelphia – Since last week worked so well, I’m going to off my usual path a bit this week…I don’t think that the Dolphins win this one, but I think they can keep it within a touchdown.

$1,500 – Tampa Bay (-1, -105) over Jacksonville – I picked them straight up, so I might as well take them in the one book I see them as the favorite at to bump my payout from -113 to -105.

$1,500 – New England at Houston: Over 44.5 (-105) – If this was in Foxboro, I wouldn’t be betting this—but in the controlled environment in Houston, 28-24 seems like an achievable final score.

$1,000 – Buffalo (+259 money line) over Dallas – I get Dallas is at home, I get that it’s Thanksgiving. But I also get that Dallas has done absolutely nothing to give me the confidence that they can beat a surprisingly tough Bills team, especially if Amari Cooper is shut down again.
