Andy finally had a decent week. Tony … well, considering he forgot about the segment until midway through the afternoon slate of games, it could have been worse.

  Week 4 W/L Week 4 $ Season W/L Season $ Bankroll
Andy 3-1 +$1,858 7-8-1 -$55 $9,945
Tony 2-2 -$55 10-6 $3,673 $13,673

Andy: Now we’re cooking.

$1,000 – Tampa Bay at New Orleans: Over 45.5 – Teddy Bridgewater is a bit more of a game manager than Drew Brees, but the Saints shouldn’t have trouble scoring against Tampa. Meanwhile, Jameis Winston hung 50-plus on the Rams last week. He won’t get that high this week, but … these teams should combine for 50-plus.

$800 – Buffalo (+3, -110) at Tennessee – I don’t know what to make of the Titans, but I think the Bills are for real. As long as they don’t allow last week’s narrow loss to the Patriots to cost them this week I think they win this game.

$800 – Chicago (-5, -110) at Oakland – The Bears aren’t running the table, but they’re not going to be challenged by the Raiders. Not with that defense.

$500 – New York Giants (+190 money line) v Minnesota – There is dissension in the Twin Cities and it’s inching toward disarray. This thing could spin out fo control quickly if the Vikings don’t show up and and take care of business Sunday.

Tony: So, I blow off the segment, stick myself with two games to bet on, and only lose $45?  I’ll take that.

$1,000 – New Orleans (-3, -109) over Tampa Bay – This opened at 6.5 (too high), but has come down to the point where it’s just the home field advantage?  I’ll take the Saints by a TD.

$1,000 – Jacksonville (+3.5, -110) over Carolina – I get Gardner Minshew’s sweet mustache AND 3.5 points?  Sing me up all day.

$1,000 – Tampa Bay at New Orleans: Over 46.5 (-110) – I’ll go back to the well in this game on the over—an indoor game should be a bit of a track meet. The Saints can play some defense, but Jameis Winston is the king of garbage time points (now that Blake Bortles is riding the pine).

$1,000 – NY Jets (money line +550) over Philadelphia – I actually took the Eagles in our picks, but with the Browns at only +178, I’ll go for the home run ball.
